We are looking for volunteers to join our Fundraising Team. Income generation is key to the continued development and success of the Farm. Our volunteer Fundraising Team has already played a significant part in generating vital funds for our initial development phase. We have set our fundraising priorities for 2018, which include developing our individual and corporate giving and applying to grant making trusts to support a CEO role for the Farm.
The main requirement is that you are excited about the Farm and have some energy, time and enthusiasm to give. You may or may not have previous fundraising experience. Our Fundraising Group meets once a month – usually in an evening 6.30-8.30pm in Florence Park – to plan, discuss and progress fundraising initiatives and applications. We estimate that the commitment is about 5-6 hours a week. This reflects the work needed to write detailed funding applications and to develop proposals for new funding initiatives. You will need to be able to use your initiative, work independently and have good communication skills.
